There’s plenty going on this month at Inn of the Lost Coast. Yoga classes, art classes, whale watching, and more. Join us in April and May for these fun happenings plus beautiful beaches, incredible views, hikes, and – new this month – breakfast for our guests. 

Breakfast in Shelter Cove at Inn of the Lost Coast 

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and it’s especially important for fueling your adventures in Shelter Cove. NEW for our guests, enjoy a delicious buffet breakfast with eggs, applewood smoked bacon, link sausage, potatoes, and fresh fruit. Dine in the Sinkyone Room/Gallery from 7:30 am to 9:30 am. $18.95 per person per day.

Arts at Heart Upcoming Shelter Cove Art Classes 

Arts at Heart is a group of artists and artisans committed to strengthening the art community and opportunities in Shelter Cove. They “believe in the solace and self-worth that blossoms when a creative outlet is discovered, and a craft is pursued with care. Highlighting the strengths of individual artistic expression furthers the ability to appreciate unique perspectives. Shelter Cove’s natural beauty and remote location offer an ideal combination of inspiration and focus. 

Introduction to Printmaking with Cindy Green | Saturday, April 22 | 4 pm to 6 pm 

A fun and interesting introduction to creating your own block for printmaking. You’ll be using “Easy Carve” Lino blocks which are accessible, economical, and very easy to carve. Much easier than wood while still maintaining great lines. This class will give you the knowledge to create amazing prints for framing, making cards, and even printing on fabric. Some design available or bring your own creative ideas. Materials Provided. $35/pp  

Watercolor Workshop Sunday with Venessa Kay and Darci Maassen | Sunday, May 7, 2:30 pm to 5 pm and Tuesday, May 9, 1 pm to 4 pm 

Intermediate watercolor instruction on succulent and cactus painting. Includes watercolor pallet and brush plus everything needed to make some paintings including a glass of wine. $35/pp

Silk Scarf Painting Workshop | Tuesday, May 23, 1:30 pm to 4 pm
